i love this picture. it makes me homesick for an imaginary home. my current home is tennessee and my previous home was the hot california desert. but this, this looks so...lovely. tennessee is beautiful too but i haven't had much time to go around exploring...where is this comment going?

This is beautiful. I wish I lived somewhere that pretty. Fantastic shot too. Is it a real polaroid? :D
:iconpaintedfingers:
Wow. And I bet it's even more beautiful without the haze of a Polaroid.

Shauna :heart:s you.

yes. although i can never touch the sky to confirm the reality of it, this photo can be held in my hands, a small gift of tangibility. imagine that- i may hold the sky in my hands?

it is a lovely thing, a polaroid, and dear. :)

home is a dangerous word to begin describing. as i see it, it is either explained too easily (a sad thing indeed), or it is more a thing to be searched for, or perhaps fumbled for in the darkness of memory.

i have spent a great many years of my life (which are precious few in the long run) in my red painted room beneath this very floridian sky.

the haze of polaroid is merely a reflection of memory i suppose. this memory i am lucky enough to clasp in my hands if i like, or save it for days when i can only find sadness. i am very lucky indeed.

this reminds me of all of those lovely sounds you hear at this time of night in the florida heat. thanks for the memories. +fav
