it was hard to tell what this picture was of at first. i love the leaf floating on the water, it's simple, yet quite lovely. amazing.

Cool I like what you did with the frame, and the puddle is so cool. Question, is it actually photographed like that, with the puddle, or did you put that in, it's a little hard to tell.
If you put it in I would get rid of the leaf, it looks a little unatural because it doesn't have a lot of contrast on it. If the puddle was photographed then I guess there isn't much you can do.
Overall nice work, great idea.

I wish I had an eye for this stuff like you. I would have never found a puddle like this, and even if I had I would not have thought for an instant to take a photo of it. The leaf is great and the odd colored surroundings add very much.

What a beautiful photograph! Full view is a must for this, otherwise you don't get to see just how moisture rich the soil surrounding the puddle really is. I do agree with Moments however that the leaf looks a bit out of place. It is theonly thing in the photo that does not fit into the brown/black 'color theme' and as such it grabs the viewers attention. In this piece I don't think that is a good thing because the real beauty of the photo is in the reflection and surrounding soil. Otherwise I think you have captured a magnificent bit of nature with this shot! Thank you for sharing it with us.
